Our 16 gauge dog fence wire is quite heavy and durable. It is capable of resisting moisture and wear from the natural elements. As far as the gauge of this wire, it is considered middle of the road. It is better quality than 18 and 20 gauge wire. However, it is thinner and less resilient than our Pro Grade Dog Fence Wire.
